The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) hast its parings set for the upcoming basketball tournaments at Bill Harris Arena, with the Tuskegee University women's team hitting the floor Monday night and the men Tuesday afternoon.
The Golden Tigerrettes (6-20, 5-13) enter the tournament as the fifth seed in the West Division and will face Benedict (9-16, 9-8) - the fourth seed from the East Division at 7:45 p.m. The two have met just one time this season, with TU falling 72-57 back on Jan. 4.
Then men's team is set to face third seeded Claflin Tuesday afternoon and 4:45 p.m. The last time the two teams played,
James Eads scored 15 points to lead the Golden Tigers while
Jason Pasley chipped in 13 points, but they also scored a season low 51 points falling 71-53.
All games during the 2018 league tournament will be carried live via
HBCU Gameday.
