James Eads scored 24 points and pulled down 11 rebounds but it would not be enough to get past Kentucky State on the road Saturday night falling 85-79 in Frankfurt, Kentucky in SIAC West Division action. The loss keeps the Golden Tigers tied for last place in the division.

The Golden Tigers out-performed KSU in several categories throughout the night including a 44-37 lead at halftime, but TU was outscored 48-35 following the break. The Golden Tigers had the edge in second chance points (13-6), points off turnovers (14-11) and Bench Points (26-21).  KSU however controlled things in the post with a 44-28 advantage in the Points in the Paint category.

Three other Golden Tigers' would score in double figures.  Travis Flagg put up 18 points, Jaylan Shelton added 13 points and five rebounds while Daniel Roach came off the bench to pour in 13 points on 4-of-9 shooting from three point range.

Kentucky State (5-12,4-6) was led by Ditalion Battle who scored a game 23 points including six three pointers,
