AUGUSTA, Ga. -
Ricky Green's single to right field scored two runs to break open a 1-1 tie in top of the 10th inning and Tuskegee (24-24) defeated (25-25) Benedict College 4-2 Thursday morning at the 2017 SIAC Baseball Tournament.
The Golden Tigers played the early morning game from Lake Olmstead Stadium in Augusta, Ga. Friday they will face Miles College who defeated Claflin.

Trey Nelson earned the win for the Golden Tigers pitching nine innings. The Norcross, Ga. native only allowed one run on five hits while striking out six batters.
Thursday morning's win marked the first postseason victory for
Reginald Hollins who took over the program last summer.
