Just one week removed from their exhibition win over LaGrange College, the Tuskegee women's basketball team will open the regular season with a pair of instate teams on the campus of Montevallo this weekend.

TU opens with the GSC/SIAC crossover on November 11-12  that features a variety of teams within the region.  The Golden Tigers will play AUM and Montevallo.  The tournament also features while Miles College being the other institution to represent the SIAC.

This weekend's slate of games will feature a string of eight games during the month of November.

Tuskegee's first opponent of the weekend features a Warhawks team that is coming off a 74-59 exhibition loss at Troy.  Last season the team finished with an overall record of 6-20 including a mark of 2-12 away from their home court. The Falcons went 5-21 last year but just won two games in conference play versus 17 loses.  

Tip off for both games this weekend from Trustmark Arena is set for 3:30 p.m.
