TUSKEGEE, Ala. | The Tuskegee University tennis teams will hit the courts against Thursday as they travel to Tuscaloosa to face Stillman College in Southern Intercollegiate Conference action.
The Tuskegee (1-2) women will look for their second consecutive conference win after defeating Clark Atlanta on Sunday. They are led currently by
Navilla Paul who has picked up a pair of wins in singles play - one at number four against Montevallo (lone Tuskegee point) and one at number five against Clark Atlanta.
Other players who have picked up wins in singles play for Tuskegee this season are - all coming against Clark Atlanta -
Monica Thomas (number two),
Kimberly Bowen (number three) and
Aminah Wright (number six). Meanwhile, the doubles team of
Reicia North and Thomas have claimed a victory at number one.
Meanwhile, the Tuskegee (0-2) men look to get their first victory of the season after matches against Morehouse and West Alabama. They will also be looking to win their first point this season as they have been shutout in the two matches, with three singles matches not finishing against West Alabama on Tuesday,
