Golden Tigers look to get into win column against Georgia College

Tuskegee has dropped their first six games of the season

TUSKEGEE, Ala | The Tuskegee University men's basketball team will look to get into the win column for the first time this season as they face a familiar foe Wednesday night on the road in Georgia College, a team they faced earlier this season.

Game is set for 7 pm (est), immediately following the women's game and can be heard on the Tuskegee Digital Network.

Tuskegee (0-6) and Georgia College (4-2) met just one week ago - Saturday, November 19 in Tuskegee - with Georgia College coming away with a 59-51 victory. In that contest, James Eads scored 21 points lead Tuskegee and Myles Thomas added 10 on an afternoon in which the Golden Tigers shot 30.6 (15-of-49) percent from the floor and hit just two three-pointers. Also in that contest, Georgia College had a pair of players in double figures - Chaz Berry and Brice Booker - and connected on seven three-pointers for the difference in the contest.

The Golden Tigers come into the contest off of a five-point loss to Bluefield State in the Florida Tech Thanksgiving Tournament on Saturday, a game in which four players scored in double figures including Eads and Travis Flagg with 15 each. Meanwhile, Georgia College enters on a four-game winning streak after winning against Clark Atlanta 68-66 on Monday night.

Eads leads Tuskegee this season in scoring at 18.2 points per game, and is shooting 40.3 (27-of-67) percent from the floor and has posted a career-high 31 points earlier this season against Montevallo on the road. Flagg is the only other player in double figures for Tuskegee at 11.8 points per game and has dished out 2.8 assists per game for the Golden Tigers. Austin Cherry has come off the bench to average eight points and four rebounds, while freshman Myles Thomas is averaging six points and 4.8 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Georgia College is led by Berry - the only player in double figures for the Bobcats - at 10.0 points per game on the season through six games.
