Tuskegee (9-5, 5-2 SIAC) started the game on an 11-0 run and extended that lead to 16-2 over the first five minutes of the game to pull away from Kentucky State (7-7, 6-4 SIAC). The Golden Tigers used three three-pointers to start the game by
Elijah McMillan and
Camden Foster, with the duo combining for 14 of the first 16 points for Tuskegee.
However, it was in the final six minutes that the Golden Tigers put their mark on the game when

Kevin May and sent the crowd into a frenzy. He followed that up with another one just 45 seconds later, followed by a
Joshua Culver block with 4:24 to play that sealed the game for the Golden Tigers.
McMillan posted a career-high 24 points for Tuskegee on 10-of-17 shooting from the floor, including connecting on 4-of-9 three pointers. He also added eight points, an assist and a steal in the win. Eads, the reigning SIAC Newcomer of the Week, finished with 11 points and four assists. Foster finished the night with 10 points, while
Kevin May dished out six assists.
Tuskegee shot 50 (30-of-60) percent from the floor, while hitting 41.7 (10-of-24) percent of their three-pointers. They also forced 13 Kentucky State turnovers and held the Thorobreds to 32.7 (17-of-52) percent shooting from the floor.
