TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Tigerettes offense was stuttered to a halt as they turned the ball over repeatedly. Miles' set the tone after rallying back from a 10-1 deficit in the opening half. Ashley Steger paced the Lady Bears with 13-points, five rebounds and three blocks in their 56-42 victory.
The first half began beautifully for Tuskegee, however due to turnovers and fouls, Miles entered halftime up 23-22. The second half saw the Tigerettes get outscored 34-19.
Rachel Brownlee led the team (Tuskegee) with 11-points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal; while
Chelsea Azore added eight points, eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal.
Offensively, TU finished shooting 24.5 percent from the field and 69.6 from the free throw line.
The Tigerettes will be back in action again on Thursday, February 12, 2015. Tip-off is set for 5:30 PM in Chappie James Arena.
