Golden Tigers’ Cowboy Impersonation Perfect as they Rope the Thorobreds 75-66

Tuskegee, AL– One point made the difference in Frankfort, Kentucky, however on their home court the Golden Tigers roped the Thorobreds quite quickly, winning the contest 75-66.

Less than one minute into the contest, KSU took a 5-0 lead over TU; this did not last as Tuskegee's battle cry resonated around Chappie James. The opening half was tied on several occasions, yet the Thorobreds had a three-point lead at halftime because of a three-pointer at the buzzer.

During halftime, the Golden Tigers celebrated their three seniors, David Alexander, Graham Olatunji and Vladmir Tilme. Last year's Championship Team was reunited as they were presented with their rings.

Using this as motivation, Tuskegee exited the break on fire. They overtook KSU in a short time and eventually built a sizable lead. With time expiring, the fans began to chant and the Marching Crimson Pipers (TU's Pep Band) delighted the crowd with Ball and Parlay. This contest was a beauty from the opening tip to the final buzzer.

David Alexander paced the Golden Tigers with 16-points, six rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals, while Vladmir Tilme added 14-points and two rebounds. Camden Foster tallied 13-points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal. Kevin May and Graham Olatunji each chipped in 10-points.
