TUSKEGEE, Ala. | Camden Foster and
James Eads paced three players in double figures as the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers defeated the University of Montevallo 70-64 at Chappie James Arena Tuesday night.

Foster and Eads each scored 17 points in the victory, the second this season over the Falcons, with Foster adding four rebounds and three assists. Meanwhile, Eads added a pair of rebounds and four assists while hitting all four of his free throw opportunities.

Kevin May added 14 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals in the win.
Elijah McMillan added nine points and seven rebounds in the win for Tuskegee (4-1).

The Golden Tigers started the half on an 8-2 run to extend the lead to 41-29, and then withstood a 15-5 Montevallo run that gave the Falcons a 47-46 lead with 8:46 to play in the game.

Tuskegee was able to take a 56-54 lead with 4:39 to play in the game on a three-pointer from Foster, and finished the game by scoring 16 of the final 26 points of the game – including connecting on all nine of their free throw opportunities.

Montevallo (1-2) was led by Terrell Lipkins with a game-high 21 points on 8-of-17 shooting from the floor, while Talan Whitaker added 14. Malik Fields scored 11 and Logan Kelley added 10 points and nine rebounds.

The Golden Tigers ended the night shooting 44.4 (24-of-54) percent from the floor, 32 (8-of-25) percent from beyond the arc and 70 (14-of-20) percent from the free throw line.

Tuskegee returns to action on the road Friday night against St. Leo on the road.
