Golden Tigers Bear Down For Victory

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Two seconds makes all the difference in a win and overtime.  The Golden Tigers proved this theory by defeating the Golden Bears of Miles College, 63-61 with two ticks remaining on the clock.
 
It's not every game that a team is able to start with a fresh slate in the second half, however both teams were able to after going into the halftime break tied at 25-points. Tuskegee was able to play a full 40-minutes and at the buzzer, they were victorious. 
 
This game wasn't your average game as not one but three Golden Tigers finished leading the team with 14-points. Kevin May, Graham Olatunji and Vladmir Tilme all tied to lead the team in scoring. Olatunji and Tilme also added eight rebounds each, while May contributed six. May 's quick hands accounted for three steals and three assists; Olatunji also added three steals.  Camden Foster tallied 10-points, six rebounds, two blocks, two steals and one assist.
 
Tuskegee finished shooting 40.3 percent from the field and 73.3 from the free throw line.
Miles was paced by Tavin Cummings with 24-points, nine rebounds, one steal and one assist.
 
The Golden Tigers will be back in action again when they travel to Mobile, Alabama, on Thursday, February 5, 2015. Tip-off is set for 8:00 PM in the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
