FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Tigerettes kept the opening 10 minutes of the contest close, however in the final minutes of the half, the Thorobrettes were able to land several key baskets to seal a 45-23 lead heading into the break.
 
Despite an early lead, Tuskegee was unable to regain their offensive momentum. 
 
Rachel Brownlee finished the clash with 16-points, nine rebounds and one assist. Kaylen Ward and Antionette Brown added 10-points each. Ward also had three assists, while Brown tallied six rebounds and three steals. The team finished with 43 rebounds, five steals, two assists and two blocks.
 
Shaia Horton galloped away for the Thorobrettes with 25-points, six rebounds, four steals, three assists and one block.
