ATLANTA – Tuskegee's Tigerettes suffered a 72-64 loss to the Lady Panthers of Clark Atlanta University.
In the first half, the score ran very tight, the lead changed several times, in addition to being tied on multiple occasions. Going into halftime, the score was deadlocked at 32.
The Tigerettes down 12 (71-59) with 1:21 remaining in the contest, managed to hold the Lady Panthers to one point for the final ticks on the clock. Despite their late game rally, the Tigerettes were unable to overcome the point deficit.
Rachel Brownlee finished the contest with a double-double; 17 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, two blocks and two assists.
Antionette Brown added 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal. The Tigerettes finished with 42 rebounds, 15 assists, 10 steals and three blocks.
Clark Atlanta was led by 25 points and Siera Bubb, who landed a double-double with 19 points and 19 rebounds.
