TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Tuskegee Golden Tigers defeated the Wildcats of Fort Valley 74-67.
Tuskegee's
David Alexander started scoring at the free throw line and followed by a three-point basket to take a 4-0 lead.
Joel Nuriddin increased the lead to six with a jumper with 17:04 left in the half. The pace was intense, yet TU maintained a commanding lead going into the break up 38-29.
In the first half,
Lorenzo Moore paced TU with seven points. Alexander and
Elijah McMillian added six points each. Alexander added four rebounds and three assists.
Camden Foster's trip to the free throw line increased the Golden Tiger lead after halftime. The game continued to be an uphill battle for Tuskegee, yet they were able to hold on to claim the victory.
May led the team with 13-points, five assists, four steals and three rebounds, while
Vladmir Tilme added 12-points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals.
David Alexander put up 11-points, six rebounds and four assists. McMillian paced the Golden Tigers with 10-points, seven rebounds and one assist. Collectively, Tuskegee put up 30 rebounds, 16 assists, eight steals and one block.
