Summary

Biography

Smith, 21, was fatally wounded Sept. 28, 2013 when a shooting occurred at a block party in the City of Tuskegee.  He was the father of an infant son.  At his memorial service, former Tuskegee University President Dr. Gilbert Rochon announced that a scholarship in Smith's name is being established, and that the university is planning to offer a certificate training program for emergency technicians.  

He has been named as the honorary captain of the 2014 Men's Tennis team by Coach Ernest Grant.
