Women’s Basketball Alumna Signs Professional Contract Overseas

TUSKEGEE, Ala. – Former Tuskegee women's basketball star and two-time SIAC Defensive Player of the Year JuToreyia Willis will continue her basketball career overseas as she has signed a professional contract for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
 
Willis will suit up for Esperance Sportive Pully out of the Swiss Basketball League, the premier women's league in Switzerland. Located in Pully, Switzerland, the team finished the 2022-23 season with a 9-11 overall record and finished fifth in league standings last season in 20 games.

The Chattanooga, Tenn. native finished her three-year career with the Golden Tigers in 2023 as one of the most accomplished players in women's basketball program history. The guard helped Tuskegee to a 60-11 overall record during the span along with three SIAC regular-season titles, two NCAA Tournament appearances, and one SIAC Tournament titles. Along with being named back-to-back SIAC Defensive Player of the Year, Willis was also a two-time All-SIAC First Team honoree, and accounted for over 1,000 career point in a Golden Tiger uniform.
