TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) office has announced the 2022-23 Commissioner's All-Academic Team honorees for the year on Friday, featuring 95 Tuskegee student-athletes.

Student-athletes with a 3.2 or higher were considered for all-academic team honors. The number of student-athletes selected in each sport is determined by the number of positions usually involved in that sport. Fifty-nine students from 13 institutions recorded a 4.0 grade point average.

Tuskegee was led by the football program, who earned a school-high 21 representatives in the honoree listing, and men's track and field and cross country with 13 honorees.

Additionally, women's basketball saw 12 members receive honors, while the women's track and field and cross country program also saw 12 members on the team, followed by baseball with ten.

Golden Tiger men's basketball and men's tennis both earned eight honorees, while Tuskegee softball saw six members honored, and the volleyball program earned five to close out the Tuskegee Athletics representation.

Men's tennis also held the highest team GPA in the conference with a 3.62, while eight student-athletes were named to the All-Academic Team in their respective sports.
