James Eads has been named to the 2018 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) All-SIAC Team for his performance during the 2017-18 season. The honor marks the second straight year the Orlando, Fla. native lands a spot on the team.
Eads led the Golden Tigers in scoring and was ranked fourth in the conference averaging 16.0 points per game. His .444 percent shooting from the field was also a team high. In addition, the three-year letter winner ranked third on the team in rebounds (4.2) hauling in a total of 106.
Earlier in the season, Eads nocthed 1,000 career points on Feb. 12 against Paine College. ON Dec. 2, he went on to score a career high 32 points against Spring Hill College. So far he has scored over 20 points seven times this season which also includes scoring in double figures in seven straight games. Overall, he has a total of 19 games in double figures.
Eads and the Golden Tigers will take on Claflin Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Bill Harris Arena in Birmingham, Ala. for the 2018 SIAC Basketball Tournament. All games can be seen live via
