Nelson got a no-decision in a 3-2 loss on the road at Miles, as the Golden Bears won on a walk-off hit in the eighth inning. The sophomore went seven innings, allowing just two runs – only one of which was earned – and scattering six hits. He also did not allow a walk and struck out two of the 28 batters he faced.
