The junior finished the day with 11 total tackles, including six solo stops from his defensive end position. He also recorded four sacks (totaling 21 yards lost) and seven tackles for loss (31 yards lost ) in the victory. Morgan also recorded two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries along the way against Stillman.

It is the first award for Morgan this season, and the seventh such award this season - including third defensive award - for the Golden Tigers. morgan was a Second Team All-SIAC pick last season, and a preseason pick this season.
