Lacey finished as the team’s leading rusher against Winston-Salem and finished the day with 229 yards of offense on Saturday. The junior carried the ball nine times for 78 yards, including a long 21 – averaging 6.9 yards per carry. Lacey also completed 13-of-26 passes for 151 yards and one touchdown. He completed a long of 26. The junior engineered three drives of over 40 yards, including a 13 play-75 yard drive against the perennial Division II power Winston-Salem State. She also engineered a seven play-58 yard drive earlier in the game.
