Lawrence punted the ball nine times for 334 yards on Saturday night against Albany State, earning his SIAC Special Teams Player of the Week. He averaged 37.1 yards per punt and was able to pin Albany State back deep for the majority of the game. He had one punt land inside the 20 and another went for a touchback, while recording a long of 62 yards. The senior missed his only field goal attempt of the night, and was 3-for-4 on the night on extra points.
