Coleman scored for the Golden Tigers by placing eighth in the triple jump with a distance of 13.49 meters. He finished just 0.11 meters out of seventh, and just 0.35 meters out of sixth in the meet. In other field events for the men, Coleman finished 13th in the javelin with a distance of 42.31 meters, finishing 1.55 meters out of scoring in the event. Elijack Mohamed finished with a distance of 30.54 meters.
