Ricky Green was named the SIAC Player of the Week after he finished the week hitting .643 in four games for Tuskegee, including picking up three extra base hits. The junior finished 9-for-14 on the week with six runs scored, four runs batted in, a double and two triples. He also walked two times and was hit by a pitch. Green went 3-for-4 against Georgia Southwestern with a run, run batted in and was hit by a pitch in the first game of the game of the week. He finished the series against Lane collecting six hits (three extra base hits), including going 3-for-4 in the series finale with a pair of triples and runs batted in. He went 2-for-3 in the series opener with a run and run batted in; while going 1-for-3 in the second game of the series. The junior raised his average 75 points over the week from .317 to .392.
