Although Luter finished hitting just .222 this week, he had one of the biggest days of anyone in the conference on Saturday. The freshman went 2-for-3 at the plate with a run scored and five runs batted in. He was able to connect for his first career homerun (a two-run homerun) against Kentucky State. He was a combined 0-for-6 in his other two games of the week.
