Mauldin was named the SIAC Pitcher of the Week when he picked up his first collegiate victory with a complete game four-hitter in a 12-2 victory over Morehouse. In seven innings he allowed just two runs, one of which was earned. He also finished five strikeouts, while Morehouse hit just .148 against him in the victory.
