Brownlee averaged 19.7 points per game over a three-game span this week for the Tigerettes, scoring in double figures in all three games. The junior recorded a double-double, and narrowly missed out on two others. In the first game of the week against Kentucky State (lost 54-57), Brownlee scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds, all while dishing out three assists. She followed that up against Lane (won 66-57) with her only double-double of the week with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while dishing out two assists and recording a pair of steals. In the final game of the week against LeMoyne-Owen (won 68-55), she scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while recording a pair of steals. For the week, Brownlee finished the night shooting 37.5 (21-of-56) percent from the floor and 94.4 (17-of-18) percent from the free throw line – including 8-of-8 against Kentucky State.
For her efforts, Brownlee was named the SIAC Player of the Week.
