Eads put together a career week as he set a career-high with 22 points against Paine on Monday (1/11/16), before breaking that mark in the same week against Central State (1/16/16) with 23 points – both victories by the Golden Tigers. The freshman finished the night against Paine 60 (9-of-15) percent from the floor and 75 (3-of-4) percent from beyond the arc in the Monday victory. He followed that up by shooting 50 (7-of-14) percent from the floor and 44.4 (4-of-9) percent from beyond the arc. He also connected on 6-of-7 of his free throw for the week.

For his efforts, Eads was named as the SIAC Newcomer of the Week.
